In 2023, Ingosstrakh settled more than 11 thousand cases of CASCO with Chinese cars and more than 88 thousand cases of compulsory civil liability insurance (CTP). Comparing with the previous year, the number of insurance cases involving Chinese cars for CASCO increased 2.3 times, and for CTP – 1.9 times. It is important to note that the increase in the number of settled cases is proportional to the number of contracts concluded for this type of machine. This is stated in the company's message.
The average casco payment for Chinese cars amounted to more than 140 thousand rubles, which corresponds to an increase of 19.8% compared to the previous year. Haval (26.78%), Chery (21.29%), Geely (16.3%), EXEED (15.18%) and OMODA (6.58%) turned out to be the most common car brands causing casco insurance claims. Against the background of CTP, Chery (25.45%), Geely (18.74%), Haval (17.7%), Isuzu (9.05%) and Lifan (6.11%) are in the lead.
