The National Payment Card System (NSPC) and Compass Plus have successfully completed the integration project of their technology platforms: the Transport Processing Platform (CCI) from NSPC and TranzWare from Compass Plus. The integration of the platforms will allow acquiring banks to simplify the process of paying for public transport using bank payment technologies and enter the fare payment market in any city and region of Russia, offering competitive financial conditions and high-quality service to their customers – regional transport operators and carriers.
Acquirers using Compass Plus products do not need to develop and maintain their own preprocessing solution, nor do they need to make improvements to integrate with preprocessing. It is enough to conclude contracts with the transport operator (or carriers) and with the NSPK and use the ready-made and tested integration of the NSPK CCI with TranzWare from Compass Plus.
The solution, based on the integration of two platforms, meets the requirements of payment systems for processing transport transactions and is ready for replication, which saves financial institutions from carrying out additional work and related costs.
The CCI NSPK platform offers a set of services and business processes for safe, fast and convenient payment with cards of all popular payment systems in Russia, issued by any issuing bank, in the usual way, including payment with gadgets, including NFC support. The CCI NSPK platform is available for all acquiring banks.
For the user, the process of non-cash payment on transport becomes as simple and convenient as in stores: the passenger needs to attach a card, NFC-phone or other gadget to the validator, terminal or turnstile.
"The foundation has been laid for a new strategic cooperation between NSPK and Compass Plus in the direction of developing payment services for urban passenger transport in the interests of its customers – acquiring banks and processors, "Maxim Zavgorodny, Director of the Operational and Technological Department of NSPK JSC and leader of the CCI product team, commented on the launch of the project."The experience, expertise, and collaboration of Compass Plus and NSPC have enabled both IT companies to increase the value of their products and create a new business advantage for corporate customers, who can now quickly enter the transport processing market with a quality offer based on the principles of openness and equal access. "
"We are pleased to offer our current and potential customers a unique solution for the implementation of the service for payment, which can be started in any Russian city, but its significant advantage is the possibility of configuration of the product under customer needs, – said Alexey Osipov, Vice President of Compass Plus. – Operational performance and high competence of employees of both companies has allowed us to implement this project in an unprecedented short period of time – from the idea to integrate two months passed, and the solution is already available for all interested players in it industry."
According to common opinion, Alexey Osipov, and Maksym Zavgorodniy, ultimately benefit passengers and banks, transport operators and carriers receiving overbank service preprocessing that can be quickly scaled solutions to transportation and related tasks, including creating a new user experience for subsidised travel on public transport card payment system "Mir".
