At the moment, many visa centers of the European Union countries in Russia have published a work schedule only until the end of December 2025. But, as a rule, they do not work on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as on national and Russian public holidays.

Therefore, according to the experience of previous years, during the New Year holidays, the vast majority of visa centers in Russia are likely to be closed. Work will resume in the standard mode from January 12, 2026.

Before the visit, it is better to clarify the current schedule for receiving and issuing documents on the official websites of visa centers or consulates.
