In the past year, the employees of ONPE "Technology" have developed ten new technologies for the manufacture of materials and two test methods, conducted eight research works, the company became the owner of 39 patents for inventions. The share of research activities in the total revenue of "Technology" in 2022 amounted to 13%, exceeding 1 billion rubles.
In 2022, ONPE Technologiya solved a number of important tasks in the field of substitution of imported materials and technologies for the domestic industry. In a short time, thanks to the organization of full-cycle production at the enterprise, the production of electrically heated glazing for railway transport from domestic materials was established, the process of applying conductive coatings was mastered and uninterrupted supplies of structural optics products for new domestic locomotives and repair kits for operating equipment were provided.
The need of the domestic aerospace industry for power aluminum honeycomb fillers used in aircraft designs has been completely closed. As part of the development work, technologies have been developed that will be used in the production of glazing for domestic passenger aircraft.

In 2022, ONPE "Technology" for the eleventh time confirmed the status of the State Scientific Center of the Russian Federation. Currently, 723 employees are engaged in research activities at the enterprise, including five members of the Russian Academy of Engineering, two academicians of the International Academy of Engineering, ten doctors of Sciences, 55 candidates of sciences, four professors, six associate professors.
