"Railway workers are very careful about their history, which is inextricably linked with the history of Russia. It is very symbolic that we are signing this agreement in the year of the 230th anniversary of the birth of Emperor Nicholas I and the 175th anniversary of the opening of the St. Petersburg-Moscow railway, which appeared thanks to his supreme decree and bore his name," Oleg Belozerov said.

"Today we are signing a 3-year agreement. Among the planned projects there is also an exhibition directly related to Russian Railways, dedicated to the creation of the first railway in Russia on behalf of Emperor Nicholas I. In addition, Russian Railways' support is focused on the Big Restoration project, which will include the restoration of the main state halls of the Hermitage," Mikhail Piotrovsky shared.
