Larisa Novikova, head of the Mozhginsky universal office of the Rosgosstrakh branch in Udmurtia, was awarded the honorary title of the People of the Year public Award, established by the Udmurtskaya Pravda newspaper back in 2004. For Larisa Novikova, this award was a recognition of the great journey she has traveled with her team and her clients.
When applying for a job at Rosgosstrakh in 2019, Larisa Nikolaevna informed everyone that she was a "banking person" — she had extensive experience working in regional branches of major Russian banks. But when we carefully studied the newcomer's workbook, we noticed that the first place of work was Rosgosstrakh, namely the Glazov branch, where Larisa Novikova came to get a job in 1995, almost immediately after graduating from the pedagogical institute, where she became a teacher of physics, computer science and computer engineering.
In the 90s, Larisa Novikova worked in insurance for 4 years. Then there was the Moscow University of Economics, Statistics and Informatics, which Larisa Nikolaevna graduated with honors in absentia. And work in the city administration, where she headed the Department of Economics and development of the municipality. In 2003, she won a grant and completed an internship to share her experience in the field of municipal management in the USA. And in 2004 she became the winner of the competition "The best municipal employee of Russia".
In 2016, Larisa Novikova moved to Mozhga for family reasons. And in 2019, she joined Rosgosstrakh again and now heads the united cluster division of the company, which includes Mozhginsky, Malopurginsky and Alnashsky districts.
"I already had experience in insurance. However, everything is changing, and we need to keep up with the times. With the spread of digitalization and the introduction of new technologies, the insurance market is also changing. But technology doesn't replace experience, it enhances it. And we need to skillfully combine all the advantages, realizing that digitalization without a human face is a conveyor belt, not insurance," Larisa Novikova shares her idea of the profession.
Marina Morozova, Deputy Director of Retail Sales at the Udmurt branch of Rosgosstrakh, noted that managing insurance work in three districts requires exceptional dedication. But Larisa Nikolaevna handles it in such a way that colleagues and clients feel that they have a reliable friend and a professional of the highest class next to them.
"For our branch, such an employee is not just an effective manager, but an example of a harmonious personality who manages to create both at work, in society, and in the family. It is such people who form the modern image of a leader for whom there are no impossible tasks," Olga Zarovnyaeva, director of the branch of Rosgosstrakh in Udmurtia, comments on her colleague's victory in the competition. — The People of the Year Award is a testament to the fact that the company employs professionals with a capital letter. Leaders like Larisa Novikova are shaping the success story not only of their unit, but of the entire republic."
