Sistema's Knowledge Center, together with experts from the corporation's portfolio assets, has developed a corporate educational program for executives called "Production Leaders: Production Management." The first enrollment in the program, which will last until May 2025, brought together more than 60 managers from 10 AFK Sistema Group manufacturing companies in the following industries: pharmaceuticals, electrical engineering and energy, microelectronics and hydrogen technologies, woodworking and textile industries, production of aviation equipment, mineral water, art ceramics and porcelain.
"When developing educational programs, we rely on the multidisciplinary expertise of the corporation and the real-world practice of our portfolio assets. The production management training program includes case studies from leading business coaches and the exchange of experience with colleagues from various companies. Within seven months, participants will receive a systematic and integrated approach to managing production and teams in modern conditions. I am confident that the acquired competencies will contribute to improving the operational efficiency of the business in the face of changes and modern challenges, and our graduates will actively apply and transfer their knowledge as mentors within their enterprises," said Svetlana Matveeva, Vice President of Human Resources Management at AFK Sistema.
The educational program consists of 7 thematic modules: strategic management and production strategy; economics and finance of enterprises; operational management and operational efficiency improvement; human resources management; innovation and change management; personal effectiveness; executive communications.
The program is based on three interrelated tracks that ensure the integrated development of managers.:
- The overall track is designed to promote personal growth and the development of managerial skills by teaching participants effective methods of self-organization, productivity improvement and team leadership.
- The industry track immerses participants in the specifics of the manufacturing sector, providing a full range of tools for optimizing processes – from strategy development and financial performance analysis to the introduction of lean manufacturing principles and the creation of corporate innovations.
- The project track is related to the development of project management competencies in production. The participants in the teams will develop real projects that will be implemented in the AFK Sistema Group companies.
Striving for continuous development and improvement is an important component of the corporate culture of the participating companies, including Segezha Group, the largest Russian timber holding company, whose leaders also participate in the educational program. According to Tatyana Zhilyaeva, Vice President of Human Resources Management at Segezha Group, "systematic training makes it possible to quickly apply new knowledge in practice and find growth points."
The acquired knowledge and skills will be confirmed by a mini MBA professional retraining diploma, which will be awarded to all those who have successfully completed the educational course.
The leadership training program for modern industries is Sistema's contribution to the implementation of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy" and the federal project "Labor Productivity".
