Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), American KKR&Co. and the British CVC Capital Partners Plc are among the contenders to acquire a minority stake in Aggreko, one of the largest British suppliers of portable electric generators. This is reported by foreign media.

As part of the proposed deal, TDR Capital and I Squared Capital, as owners of Aggreko, plan to sell up to 30% of the company's shares, with a total value estimated at $12 billion.

In 2021, TDR and I Squared merged to privatize Aggreko for 2.6 billion pounds ($3.5 billion). At the beginning of 2025, Aggreko placed debt obligations in the amount of $2.3 billion, of which $503 million were allocated to pay dividends to TDR and I Squared.

Negotiations are ongoing, and Aggreko's owners may refuse to sell their shares if the offers fall below expectations.
