Olympusat, one of the largest media holdings in USA and Latin America, acquired the rights on six NTV series and ten documentaries, as it was informed by NTV Nov. 17.
Olympusat acquired the rights on projects in Internet, as well as broadcasting on paid TV in USA and Latin American. In particular, NTV projects will be available to the users of new AVOD platform-Free TV, which was launched in May 2020. Currently, the platform is available in Latin America, in particular, in Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Peru, Colombia and other countries.
This is not the first transaction of NTV in the US and Latin American markets. In 2018, the series "Walking on torment" entered the Netflix library as the first commercial transaction of Russian TV channel with one of the largest streaming services in the world. NTV series are also available on the Amazon Prime Video platform. In 2020 Encripta, one of the largest distributors in Brazil, acquired the rights to some series.
NTV is the largest commercial TV channel in Russia. It was founded 27 years ago and is rated as TOP-3 among Russian TV channels.
