Passenger traffic on the new Rublyovo-Arkhangelskaya metro line has been launched in Moscow. This was announced by the mayor of the city, Sergei Sobyanin, in his Max channel.

This is the 17th branch of the Moscow metro. It will stretch from the Moscow City MIBC to Rublyovo-Arkhangelskoye, and in the future to Krasnogorsk. The first section with 5 stations has now been launched — from the Business Center to General Karbyshev Boulevard. The new line will be serviced by the Solntsevo electric depot. In the future — Novorizhskoye, which is scheduled to be completed in 2027.
