On July 4, 2025, the Expert RA rating agency upgraded Kamkombank's creditworthiness rating to ruBB, with a stable outlook. Previously, the bank had a rating of giVV- with an evolving outlook. This is stated in the agency's message.
The increase in the rating is due to the growing scale of the bank's business, which supported the assessment of competitive positions, diversification and efficiency. The rating was also positively affected by the change in the agency's methodological approaches regarding the assessment of the impact of regulatory risks. The change in the forecast is due to maintaining a high level of profitability and maintaining an adequate quality of loan and guarantee portfolios. The bank's creditworthiness rating is based on its satisfactory market position, strong capital position, high profitability, adequate assessment of asset quality and liquidity reserves, as well as a conservative assessment of corporate governance.
