The nominal GDP of the Russian Federation in 2024, according to Rosstat's first estimate, reached 200.04 trillion rubles, an increase of 4.1% compared to 2023. The deflator index was 108.9%. This is stated in the message of the statistical office.
GDP grew due to an increase in domestic final demand (+4.8%) while net exports decreased.
Final consumption expenditures increased by 5.2%, including household expenditures increased by 5.5%, expenditures of the public administration sector increased by 4.5%, and non–profit organizations serving households increased by 4%.
Gross accumulation increased by 3.7% due to gross accumulation of fixed capital and valuables (+10.2%) while reducing the increase in working capital stocks.
In the structure of the main components of GDP in 2024, the share of final consumption expenditures increased to 68.8% from 68.4% in 2023, while the share of gross savings remained unchanged. The share of net exports decreased to 3.8% from 4.2%.
