The Russian government has approved a temporary customs duty on the export of oilseed flax from the country outside the Eurasian Economic Union. The corresponding decree was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, according to the website of the Cabinet of Ministers.
According to the decree, the duty rate will be 10% of the customs value of raw materials. This rate will be valid until August 31, 2026.
In addition, the Cabinet of Ministers introduced tariff quotas until December 31, 2025 for duty-free export from Russia outside the Eurasian Economic Union of corn produced in the territories of Primorsky Krai and Amur Region. The quota for corn exports from Primorsky Krai will be 280 thousand tons, from Amur region – 130 thousand tons.
