The container turnover of the Navy increased by 6.6% in the first quarter

The Vladivostok Commercial Sea Port (VMTP) of the FESCO transport group (part of the management contour of the Rosatom State Corporation) handled 204.7 thousand TEU in the first quarter of 2026, which is 6.6% more than in the same period of 2025. This is stated in the message of FESCO.

The driver of the changes was the growth of cargo traffic from China. The highest figures were recorded in March. This month, the VMTP processed 72.5 thousand TEU, which is 17% higher than a year earlier and 15% more than in February 2026.

In addition to containers, grain transshipment volumes increased at the VMTP in the first quarter of 2026. In three months, 164.8 thousand tons were exported, which is 22% more than in the same period of 2025.

Vladivostok Commercial Sea Port is a universal terminal in the Far East. The total annual cargo turnover is 13.4 million tons, the maximum annual container turnover is 879 thousand TEU.

FESCO Transport Group is a Russian transport and logistics company with assets in the field of port, railway and integrated logistics business, which allow the group to deliver goods door—to-door and control all stages of the intermodal chain.

The group's fleet includes more than 30 transport vessels under management, which carry out transportation mainly on their own shipping lines.

In November 2023, by decree of the President of the Russian Federation, the controlling stake was transferred to Rosatom State Corporation.

The Far Eastern Shipping Company (Far-Eastern Shipping Company, FESCO) is the parent company of the FESCO Group.

FESCO's net loss under IFRS for 2025 amounted to 3.169 billion rubles against a profit of 25.408 billion rubles a year earlier. Revenue decreased by 7% to 171.583 billion rubles from 184.978 billion rubles, EBITDA decreased by 48% to 28.369 billion rubles from 54.498 billion rubles.
