The MCST company, the developer of the Russian Elbrus processors, announced the conclusion of an agreement with the Open Mobile Platform company.

The MCST company has become a partner of the Open Mobile Platform, the developer of the Russian Aurora OS. The purpose of the cooperation between the ICST and the Open Mobile Platform is to create, promote and develop reliable domestic solutions for building trusted secure mobile infrastructure in large commercial and state—owned companies.

Konstantin Trushkin, Deputy Director of the ICST for Marketing:

"Our team has a long-term practice of creating domestic microprocessors. We are pleased to announce our cooperation with the Open Mobile Platform and thereby provide our customers with the opportunity to create a completely independent domestic ecosystem that guarantees data security. The combination of capabilities at the Elbrus processor level and the implementation of a trusted environment at the software level allows you to effectively control the integrity of the OS, as well as limit services that can be potentially dangerous or compromise the security of devices."

Sergey Larin, Director of Technology Partner Development at Open Mobile Platform:

"The transition to fully domestic certified solutions avoids the risks associated with the shutdown of technical support and the functioning of foreign services, and also makes it possible to ensure the security of corporate and personal data. Providing support for Elbrus microprocessors will require extensive collaboration between the two companies, as well as adding Elbrus support to the Aurora SDK. Support for the Elbrus architecture in the SDK will significantly simplify the creation of application software compatible with the Aurora OS on devices on this hardware platform. Having accumulated these skills over the years of working on the Aurora mobile operating system, we are now sharing them with Russian developers of processors, motherboards, as well as end devices in new, sometimes completely unexpected form factors. We hope that in the near future we will be able to announce the concrete results of our cooperation."

Aurora OS is the first Russian mobile operating system for smartphones and tablets. It is certified by the FSTEC of Russia and the FSB of Russia and is included in the Register of Russian Software. Among the platform's features: support for centralized management of a fleet of corporate devices, data protection using domestic cryptography, a large set of software for solving corporate tasks. Aurora OS also provides the capabilities and necessary API tools to create solutions for various project requirements.
