FESCO Transport Group ("FESCO", the "Group", is part of the management circuit of the Rosatom State Corporation) organized the shipment of the first container shipment of wheat from the Krasnoyarsk Territory to Vietnam. Previously, grain was not exported from the region in containers to this country.
The batch amounted to 90 TEU with a total weight of more than 2 thousand tons. The cargo was shipped at the end of November from the Bazaiha station (Krasnoyarsk) to Vladivostok by the Group's regular railway service.
Currently, containers with Krasnoyarsk wheat are already located on the territory of the Vladivostok Commercial Sea Port (VMTP, part of FESCO) and are undergoing the necessary procedures before loading onto the Group's vessel, which will then deliver them to the Vietnamese port of Haiphong as part of the FESCO Vietnam Direct Line (FVDL) marine service.
The planned duration of the entire intermodal transportation will be 21 days.
FESCO continues to develop logistics intermodal solutions for the export of agricultural products from Siberia to Asian countries based on its own rail and maritime services, ensuring predictable delivery times in key foreign trade destinations.
