For the first time, Rostec State Corporation's Roselectronics Holding presents DMR (Digital Mobile Radio) Tier II+ base stations, which allow the creation of distributed digital professional radio communication networks with a radius of up to 20 km. The equipment is on display at the Expotechnostrage exhibition. Advanced Technology Day" at the Rostec joint stand.

The new base stations, developed by engineers of the Constellation concern of the Roselektronika holding, allow the use of up to eight communication channels, which significantly increases the subscriber capacity of the system. The equipment implements trunking mode – automatic selection of an available communication channel when establishing a call. To date, two modifications of Tier II+ DMR base stations have already been manufactured for the frequency ranges 146-174 MHz and 401-486 MHz.

The equipment is compatible with all existing domestic and foreign civilian professional mobile radio communication systems of the DMR standard, is protected from direct listening and allows the formation of networks of different scales.

"The DMR equipment of the Constellation has been accepted for supply by the largest enterprises of the fuel and energy and electric grid complex of the country, as well as the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia and Rosgvardiya, and has already proven itself well, providing reliable stable communication. The range of DMR Tier II+ and Tier III devices will allow you to form a reliable communication circuit at facilities in the shortest possible time. We are already working on four modifications of Tier III base stations, which are planned to be completed by the end of 2024. Up to 12 communication channels with a dedicated control channel will be implemented in them, which will ensure uninterrupted operation of network subscribers in any situation," said Boris Movtyan, Executive Director of the Constellation concern.

The line of DMR equipment of the Constellation concern also includes portable, car radios and a repeater. All devices have increased noise immunity, are resistant to external factors – vibrations, shocks, extreme temperatures and moisture ingress. Serial production of digital DMR radio stations has been underway since 2020.

Exhibition of advanced technologies for ensuring the security of the individual, society and the state "Expotechnostrage. The Day of Advanced Technologies" takes place from April 3 to 5 at the Expoforum St. Petersburg Exhibition Center.
