Rostec State Corporation's Roselectronics Holding has completed the development of DMR (Digital Mobile Radio) Tier III base stations to create distributed digital communication networks of various scales. The equipment provides interference-resistant professional radio communication and has the function of protecting negotiations from direct listening.

The new base stations, developed by engineers of the Constellation concern of the Roselektronika holding, allow the use of up to 12 communication channels with a dedicated control channel. This significantly increases the subscriber capacity of the system, its reliability, and also increases the coverage area compared to the equipment of the previous generation. The equipment uses trunking mode — automatic selection of a free channel when establishing a call. To increase the noise immunity of communication in case of signal fading, the equipment implements the possibility of spaced reception.

The equipment is able to synchronize from navigation signals, diagnose malfunctions independently and automatically adjust the operating mode. The equipment is compatible with all existing domestic and foreign civilian professional mobile radio communication systems of the DMR standard. To date, two modifications of Tier III DMR base stations have been developed for the frequency ranges 146-174 MHz and 401-486 MHz.

To manage the communication network, the concern's specialists have created a software dispatch complex "Constellation DMR". The solution allows you to keep a register of users, differentiate their access levels to the elements and capabilities of the radio network, establish individual and group calls between the mobile station and the dispatcher, send text messages, and track the movement of subscribers in real time. The dispatcher complex supports the latest versions of Windows and Astra Linux operating systems. The solution does not require the installation of additional software — the dispatcher works via a web interface from any computer.

The Constellation Concern has formed a line of DMR equipment, including portable and car radios, base stations, a repeater, as well as a software solution for network management. This will allow the company to provide customers with all the necessary tools for creating and configuring digital radio communication networks. Today, our equipment has been accepted for supply by the largest enterprises of the fuel and energy and electric grid complex of the country, as well as the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia and Rosgvardiya," said Boris Movtyan, Executive Director of the Constellation concern.

All Constellation DMR devices have increased noise immunity, are resistant to external factors — vibrations, shocks, extreme temperatures and moisture ingress.
