Rosneft and Nayara Epegdu signed a contract for the supply of a catalyst for hydrotreating diesel fractions produced by RN-Kat. The first batch - more than 600 tons - has already been delivered to India.
Rosneft is one of the market leaders in the production of catalysts. High-quality catalysts for the Russian oil industry are produced at the facilities of the Angarsk Plant of Catalysts and Organic Synthesis, the Novokuibyshev Plant of Catalysts and the RN-Cat enterprise in Sterlitamak.
The first delivery of catalysts for a foreign company has been implemented in full and within the terms planned by the contract. By the end of the year, the RN-Cat catalyst is planned to be loaded into the diesel fuel hydrotreating unit at the Nayara Epegdu refinery.
RN-Cat is the only company in Russia that produces catalyst systems for the process of hydrotreating diesel fractions. Catalysts make it possible to obtain diesel fuel that meets the most modern requirements. The properties of catalysts are not inferior to the best world analogues, and in some parameters they are superior to them.
The production potential of RN-Cat is able to meet the basic needs of the domestic oil refining industry in hydrotreating catalysts.
