Rostec State Corporation is increasing the amount of social support for employees and their families to 33 billion rubles this year. Among the priorities — corporate demographic policy, including a multiple increase in payments for the birth of children, as well as the development of sanatorium treatment. The prospects for the development of social programs were discussed during the Corporation's session at the XXVI International HR EXPO PRO PEOPLE Forum.
The cost of implementing the new demographic standards will amount to about 2 billion rubles per year. The amount of payments will depend on the number of children and will increase by more than 6 times compared to previous years.
"Rostec State Corporation has almost 730,000 employees in more than 60 regions of the country with different traditions and mentalities. We are all united by a corporate culture and a common goal — to strengthen Russia's technological sovereignty. Enterprises from 56 regions are working on the creation of the MS-21 alone, and 13 regions are involved in the production cooperation of KAMAZ. Last year, we approved a Development Strategy until 2036, identifying three key priorities: creating an environment for the development of new technologies, strengthening the principle of a common cause, and taking systematic care of people. It is based on an understanding of a simple but fundamental thing: the strength of a Corporation is determined by the people who work in it. They are the ones who create the technologies of the future, develop production facilities and ensure the achievement of strategic goals. Therefore, we consider investments in employees to be the most significant and long-term. All our programs, from social support to educational and career initiatives, are built around a person, his professional growth and expansion of development opportunities," said Oleg Yevtushenko, Executive Director of Rostec State Corporation.
Industrial medicine, voluntary medical insurance, sanatorium treatment, corporate pension, housing program, and a wide range of educational tools are available to the Corporation's employees.
"Taking care of people is traditionally one of Rostec's key priorities. We implement uniform standards of corporate social policy in the interests of our employees and their families. The social spending budget started with an amount of 7 billion rubles, and today it is more than 33 billion rubles. Starting this year, payments to support families with children have been increased. This decision was made consciously, because we understand that family is the foundation of human well—being, and a happy person is able to achieve high results at work. Due to the increased production load, we also place a serious emphasis on health management. The key task is to synchronize the medical and rehabilitation components so that rest and recovery work as much as possible to prevent and minimize the risks of developing diseases, and help those who already have medical indications recover. This is taking care of people, and on the other hand, it is one of the important tools for increasing labor productivity, taking into account that about 30% of our employees work in harmful and dangerous conditions," commented Yulia Tsvetkova, HR Director at Rostec State Corporation.
At the same time, she stressed that the development of social policy should go hand in hand with the growth of personal responsibility of employees and managers at all levels. We are talking about an integrated approach that combines motivation, engagement, recognition of people's contributions and the development of managerial competencies. In addition, it is important to find a place for a specialist where he can maximize his potential and bring the greatest benefit.
Rostec's HR Director also noted that advanced training for promising areas remains a separate challenge. The Corporation has ambitious goals to develop new business areas, including medical instrumentation and other high-tech industries. To do this, enterprises need to actively form a personnel order over a three— to five-year horizon and synchronize it with educational programs.
The XXVI International HR EXPO PRO PEOPLE Forum was held from June 18 to 19, 2026 in Moscow. The main theme of this year was the rethinking of the organization and the role of man in the age of machines. The event brought together representatives of business, government agencies, the HR community, company executives, experts in the field of personnel management and human capital development.
