JX Advanced Metals Corp., a subsidiary of ENEOS Holdings, raised 439 billion yen ($2.9 billion) in an IPO on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, one of the largest stock offerings in Japan since 2018. This is reported in the JX press release.

The shares of JX Advanced Metals were sold at a price of 820 yen per share amid high demand from investors. Daiwa Securities Group Inc., JPMorgan Chase & Co., Morgan Stanley and Mizuho Financial Group Inc. acted as organizers of the JX IPO.

From the point of view of experts, a successful placement of JX shares may encourage other local companies to conduct an IPO. Recently, interest in IPOs in Japan has decreased compared to 2024, when total revenue reached 961 billion yen. In 2025, there were only six deals worth a total of 12.6 billion yen.

JX supplies key semiconductor materials to Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. and Intel Corp. and he expects an increase in demand for chips with artificial intelligence.
