Thomassen Amcot Holdings LLC (TAH), a subsidiary of American electricity producer Thomassen Amcot International LLC, has entered into an agreement with Canadian TC Energy Corp. about the purchase of an unused set of Alstom 160 MW steam turbine generators. This is reported in the TAH press release.

The generators, supplied to Canada by the French engineering company Alstom SA, were stored in Calgary (Canada).

The deal is in line with TAH's strategy, with sales of $3.5 billion, aimed at repurchasing non-operating assets in various countries for transportation to the United States amid electricity shortages in some American markets.

TAH is a subsidiary of Thomassen Amcot International LLC, an American electric power manufacturer and distributor, and provides services to increase production and reduce equipment costs. It is headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, with offices in 60 countries.

Alstom is a French engineering company and one of the world leaders in the production of railway transport (second only to the Chinese CRRC).

TC Energy is a Canadian energy company with headquarters in Calgary, Alberta. The company operates a network of gas and oil pipelines in Canada, the United States and Mexico, as well as several power plants, and is on the Forbes Global list of the largest companies in the world.
