First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov instructed to assess the readiness of the transport complex to prevent disruptions and quickly restore communication in the event of destabilizing factors. This was reported on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers following a meeting of the Subcommittee on Ensuring the Smooth functioning of certain sectors of the economy.
The meeting discussed issues of ensuring the smooth operation of the transport complex.
According to D. Manturov, it is necessary to distribute responsibilities between the owners of facilities, carriers and authorities, and to determine the need for additional equipment and financing for regional and municipal infrastructure.
In the Russian Federation as a whole, there is a fairly strong regulatory framework in the field of transport security. All its provisions must be fully implemented. Otherwise, the issue of personal responsibility of officials should be raised, the First Deputy Prime Minister stressed.
