GAP Resource took part in the Russia-Africa Economic and Humanitarian Forum, where she discussed Russian-African cooperation: trade, investment, food security, agricultural technologies and the creation of new logistics corridors. This is stated on the company's website.

GAP Resource has proposed a course on industrial cooperation and the development of agrologistics in cooperation with Africa.

We discussed the increase in ship calls to African countries and the development of ports that were not previously covered. Special attention was paid to countries without access to the sea: transportation by rail and road is being considered for them.

Among the main problems are the high cost of delivery, especially at the "last mile" stage, difficulties with international and local freight payments, and investment barriers, which led the company to abandon a commercial egg production project in one of the African countries.

The imbalance in the tariff policy was also touched upon. For a number of goods from individual African countries, the EAEU has reduced the import duty to 75% of the usual rate, and for many countries of the continent it has been completely reset, while there are no similar preferences in the opposite direction.

When exporting goods to the continent, Russian suppliers pay from 20 to 50% of the cost of goods. In this regard, Russia is interested in reducing trade barriers and creating a free trade zone between the EAEU and South Africa.

GAP Resurs exported 35,000 tons of frozen poultry meat to 12 African countries from 2024 to September 2026. In the first 9 months of 2026, exports reached 14.8 thousand tons. The main destinations are Ghana, Mozambique, the Republic of the Congo and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, while supplies also go to Liberia, Togo and the Sahel countries.

The company is developing its own cold logistics through St. Petersburg, using refrigerated containers, and plans to increase the supply of packaged feed for poultry farms in Africa.

The Resource Group of agricultural enterprises is one of the largest Russian producers of food products (the brands Blagoyar, Nasha Ptitochka, Dym Dymych, Vladimirsky Standard and others).
