GAP Resource participated in a meeting of the Business Council, where practical opportunities for the development of bilateral trade and economic cooperation, promising projects and the preparation of a Russian business mission to Afghanistan were discussed. This is stated on the company's website.

The participants considered a wide range of areas, from the agro—industrial complex and logistics to energy, pharmaceuticals, industry and financial mechanisms.

During the year, the council discussed with its Afghan partners the supply of food, petroleum products, equipment, medical equipment and pharmaceutical products, as well as the possibility of developing transport infrastructure.

One of the key areas of discussion is the development of agro—industrial and food cooperation. Russian companies want to expand the supply of grain, flour, vegetable oils, feed components, mineral fertilizers, agricultural machinery and veterinary drugs, as well as participate in the development of poultry farming and agricultural infrastructure in Afghanistan.

In order to expand supplies, it is necessary to develop transport routes and reduce logistical costs. This requires a stable cargo base, oncoming cargo flows, and the development of end-to-end transportation tariffs.

The Russia—Kazakhstan—Uzbekistan—Termez—Hairaton route is considered promising. They are considering the possibility of test shipments of Russian products to Afghanistan, where flour may become one of the potential cargoes.

Following the meeting, further steps were identified: holding industry meetings with interested companies, working out pilot supplies, finding solutions for logistics and mutual settlements, as well as forming a list of promising projects for discussion with Afghan partners.

The Resource Group of agricultural enterprises is one of the largest Russian producers of food products (the brands Blagoyar, Nasha Ptitochka, Dym Dymych, Vladimirsky Standard and others).
