Lenta has completed its partnership with Remy Group of Companies. As part of the completed transaction, the Lenta Group acquired 67% of the shares of the Remy retail chain. This is stated in the company's message.
The perimeter of the deal will include 115 retail outlets, including 87 stores in the Primorsky Territory, 24 stores in the Khabarovsk Territory and 4 stores in the Sakhalin Region, as well as the logistics infrastructure that supplies the network. All stores operate on leased facilities, their total retail area is about 100 thousand square meters. m.
The founder and current owner of Remy Group will retain a stake in its capital and continue to develop the business together with the current team. The stores will continue to operate as part of the combined company under the current brands.
Remy Group unites supermarkets, hypermarkets, convenience stores and discounters under the Remy, RemiCity and Economych brands. By the end of 2024, the network's total revenue amounted to about 53 billion rubles.
Earlier it became known that Lenta LLC (the legal entity of the Lenta retailer) secured the property of the Vladivostok Mercury and VUS companies — 12% and 21% of shares in the Product Economy company (one of the legal entities of the Far Eastern retailer Remy) accordingly.
