JSC Corporation of Robots (part of Element Group of Companies) acquired 51% of JSC NPO Android Technology. This was reported to Vedomosti by a representative of Element. The company will become the first major asset in the new business line for the development of robotics in the perimeter of Element Group. The parties did not disclose the amount of the transaction.
Another 49% will remain with the company's management. Evgeny Dudorov, who served as the executive director of NPO Android Technology, will join the leadership of the Robot Corporation as the executive director responsible for the scientific, technological and industrial development of the new direction. The NGO management will retain 49%.
NPO Androidtechnika is a developer of robotic systems and components for robotics and machine tool industry. In total, the company's portfolio includes more than 130 products. The NGO was established in 2009 with an authorized capital of 61 million rubles. In the first quarter of 2016, the company was owned by 7th Technological Order LLC.
