The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and the National Investment Promotion Agency of the Republic of India (Invest India) have agreed to support the entry of Russian companies into the Indian market and attract Indian business to Russia. This is stated in the message of the RDIF.
Under the agreement, RDIF, together with its partners, will invest up to RUB 100 billion in Russian companies entering the Indian market and implementing projects in India.
The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) was founded in June 2011 with the aim of making equity investments mainly in Russia together with leading foreign financial and strategic investors. At the moment, RDIF has successful experience in implementing more than 100 projects with foreign partners with a total volume of over 2.2 trillion rubles.
