South Korean investment company Mirae Asset Global Investments Co. is considering the sale of the Hyatt Regency Waikiki hotel. This is reported by foreign media.

Mirae has engaged Jones Lang LaSalle Inc. to find potential buyers for the proposed deal, which could be worth $650 million.

Mirae acquired the Hyatt Regency Hotel from Blackstone Inc. in 2016, and then refinanced the property with a $450 million loan provided by JLL. The resort has 1,230 rooms spread over two 40-story towers overlooking Waikiki Beach and downtown Honolulu.

In December 2024, Blackstone also considered selling the Grand Wailea Resort on Maui, demonstrating the high demand for hotels in Hawaii.
