The Government Commission for Improving the Efficiency of the use of Federal Property and the development of Territories has approved the transfer of a number of facilities to the management of DOM.RF. This is reported on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The Commission also approved the gratuitous transfer of a number of real estate properties to municipal ownership, including in the Novosibirsk and Lipetsk regions.
It was decided to transfer the authority to manage and dispose of federal land plots, including the Tyumen Region, the Komi Republic and the Stavropol Territory.
The work on involving unused land plots and facilities in economic turnover provides a huge potential for the development of Russian cities and regions, said Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin, quoted on the website.
Abandoned territories, according to him, should become the basis for the construction of housing, social facilities, enterprises and the formation of public spaces.
In general, 5.6 thousand hectares of federal land should be sold by the end of the year.
