The growth of industrial production in the Russian Federation in January-August 2026 was zero. In August, industrial production decreased by 0.6% year-on-year. This is reported in the materials of the Ministry of Economic Development.
The manufacturing sector recorded an increase of 0.4% in 8 months, followed by a decrease of 0.5% in August. The main positive contribution to the dynamics of manufacturing industries in August continues to be made by the machine-building complex. An increase in production was recorded here by 6.2% (for 8 months – by 6%).
The mining sector in January-August showed a decrease of 1%, in August – by 1.3%.
In the energy sector, output increased by 0.5% in 8 months, and decreased by 1.2% in August.
