1.068 million new cars (up to 3 years old) were sold in Russia in January-September 2026. This is 5.3% higher than in the same period of 2025, according to the website of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The market of Russian-made cars grew by 22.3% to 681 thousand. The share of domestic machinery increased by 8.9 percentage points to 63.8%.
98.699 thousand hybrid cars were sold, which is 92.6% more than a year earlier. The share of electric vehicles and hybrids manufactured in the Russian Federation was 28.3%.
