Trade turnover between Russia and Bahrain increased by almost 15% in the first quarter of 2025. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Economic Development with reference to the head of the Ministry Maxim Reshetnikov.
Currently, the entry of Russian pharmaceutical companies into the Bahraini market with a possible localization of production is being discussed. Russia, in turn, is ready to support Bahraini companies interested in operating in the Russian market.
Mikhail Reshetnikov noted the importance of expanding correspondent networks between the banks of the two countries, including the use of alternative financial settlement channels.
In the near future, the parties will continue negotiations on new investment projects, as well as discuss the expansion of banking cooperation.
