Russian President Vladimir Putin has set a limit of 1 million rubles for individuals to export Russian currency in cash to the EAEU countries, as well as to Azerbaijan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. The relevant decree of the head of state has been published on the legal information portal.
The exception is the export of currency through airports, the list of which will be determined by the Government of the Russian Federation. At the same time, bank statements will be required confirming that the cash rubles have been withdrawn from the accounts of the person exporting them.
