The DEACON-DS company, engaged in the production of medical devices for in vitro, will expand the production of medical equipment for research through the construction of a modern high-tech complex. To implement the investment project, the company was provided with a plot under the regional program "Land for 1 ruble" in the Pushchino urban district, the press service of the Ministry of Property Relations of the Moscow region reports.
"The volume of investments of the DEACON-DS company in the construction and launch of a modern production complex equipped with high-tech equipment will amount to about 600 million rubles. It is planned to create about 20 jobs for residents of the Moscow region at the new enterprise. The investor plans to complete the construction and launch a new production facility in the fourth quarter of 2026," said Ekaterina Zinovieva, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow Region.
The DEACON-DS company has been manufacturing equipment and components for medical research for more than 25 years. To date, 130 reagents are produced at the company's existing production sites located in the Moscow region to determine more than 50 indicators in human biological fluids. According to research agencies, about 20% of all biochemical studies performed in Russia are carried out on DIAKON-DS reagents.
"At the moment, the company has two production sites in the territory of the Pushchino city district, but due to the expansion of the product line and the increase in production capacity, the company decided to build a new modern complex. On a plot of 4 hectares, which the company received under the regional program "Land for 1 ruble", it is planned to build an industrial complex with an area of 3.7 thousand square meters. meters," added Natalia Adigamova, Minister of Property Relations of the Moscow region.
The products will be manufactured in a clean room of Class 7 in accordance with the requirements of ISO 13485. In parallel with the launch of the production shop, the company will also increase the laboratory and research area.
The launch of the new production will partially replace imported products on the market, which are used, among other things, for the diagnosis of diabetes mellitus, oncological diseases and diseases of the cardiovascular system.
"The current geopolitical situation and logistical difficulties with the supply of imported medical equipment have created an urgent need for rapid and high-quality substitution for domestic products. So, last year, on the basis of DEACON-DS, we developed and launched a separate production of hematological reagents. Today, the production capacity is up to 700 tons per year. At the new enterprise, we plan to launch the production of semi-automatic and automatic analyzers that are used in medical laboratories," said Tatyana Korzun, General Director of DEACON-DS.
