The American defense company Anduril Industries Inc. is negotiating to raise $8 billion in a new round of financing in order to increase the value of assets to $60 billion. This is reported in a press release from Anduril.
The new funding will double Anduril's market value compared to the previous $2.5 billion funding in 2025, demonstrating support from the U.S. government and investor interest in AI technologies in the defense sector.
Anduril intends to attract technology investors and institutional sponsors to finance the project. If the deal is completed, Anduril will receive significant funds to implement ambitious projects, including the construction of a large factory and the development of unmanned weapons.
Anduril expects to increase annual revenue to $2 billion under contracts with the U.S. Department of Defense through the introduction of artificial intelligence, increased production and new technologies.
