In the Russian Federation, the share of refusals for car loan applications in September 2026 was 69.3%. This is 3.6 percentage points higher than in the previous month, according to the NBKI website.
The largest share of refusals for car loan applications among the 30 leading regions in terms of the number of applications was recorded in the Irkutsk Region, Altai, Krasnodar and Krasnoyarsk Territories, as well as the Kemerovo region.
The lowest failure rates were shown by the Nizhny Novgorod Region, St. Petersburg, Tatarstan, Moscow and Udmurtia.
