MTS PJSC implemented the fundraising functionality for charity in the MTS Pay payment acceptance service. This is stated in the company's message.

Now businesses can open a fundraising collection for the implementation of social initiatives, and users can transfer money to charity directly on the payment screen of the service. The first charity transactions using MTS Pay were conducted to help children from social institutions in 5 regions of the country.

The MTS Pay-based initiative complements MTS' range of technological solutions aimed at developing daily charity. MTS Pay is a service for paying for online purchases from acquiring partners that supports payments from Russian bank cards, from a mobile number account, via SBP or Sberpay. In particular, MTS Pay is available for paying for MTS services, including the KION, Yuret, and MTS online store platforms.

You can donate funds to NGOs on the MTS website and in the My MTS app, and later on from MTS Pay service partners. When you select this method, a screen with the "Fundraising" option will automatically open. In the free field, you can enter the desired amount for charity and click the "Send help" button. After that, the funds are sent to the fund that organizes the collection, and the client is redirected back to the payment screen. The donation is processed as a separate transaction and is not included in the total purchase amount.

The Sistema Charitable Foundation became the first partner of the MTS Pay fundraising platform. He implements a number of projects and initiatives in the field of improving the quality of life of the population, creating equal opportunities for self-realization and access to cultural heritage. MTS Pay users have already participated in fundraising to help children from orphanages in the Smolensk and Novgorod regions, Mari El, Khakassia and Krasnodar Krai prepare for school.

MTS plans to expand the pool of non–profit organizations that can use the MTS Pay-based charitable fundraising platform. The partnership opportunity is open to proven NGOs with different specializations in different regions of the country, regardless of scale.
