The international reserves of the Russian Federation increased by 2.8% in December 2025, amounting to $754.853 billion as of January 1, 2026. In 2025, international reserves increased by 23.9%. This is evidenced by the data of the Bank of Russia.
The volume of monetary gold increased by 5.1% to $326.537 billion in December, and by 66.8% over the year. Foreign exchange reserves increased by 1% in December to $428.317 billion, and by 3.6% over the year.
