Since the beginning of this year, 178 thousand cars have been sold in Russia under preferential car loans and preferential leasing programs. In 2026, the programs reached the planned volume and fulfilled the task of supporting the market, according to the website of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The suspension of these instruments this year is a regular situation when using the allocated budget, and we are not talking about the complete cancellation of support measures, the ministry emphasizes.
At the same time, the Ministry of Industry and Trade notes that the implementation of preferential car loans and preferential leasing programs is included in the new budget cycle. Their resumption will be announced later.
